Our experience suggests that the iRobot S9+ doesn't get loud during operation which makes it a good choice for people who live with kids or pets.

They're a great option for busy families, and they're becoming more affordable than ever. However, if you want the latest features for your robotic vacuum cleaner, you'll be spending a little more.
The Eufy RoboVac X8 Hybrid is an all-in-one mopping and vacuum machine which makes it a great choice for those in a flat with multiple floors. Its dual motors offer incredible cleaning power, and the vacuum's 0.6l dustbin can hold plenty of pet hair. The dustbin can be taken away and emptied without fuss which is beneficial because you'll need to do it often.
It's easy to set up as well, but I do recommend fully charging the X8 Hybrid before running it for the first time. Install the Eufy Home application and follow the directions to connect it to your WiFi network. After you've completed this the app will assist you to create a detailed map of your home. Rooms can be named and divide website large spaces into smaller rooms (good for open-plan living) and direct the X8 Hybrid to specific areas that require cleaning at a given time. Eufy's application is more user-friendly and precise than other robots that have similar scanning and mapping functions.
The X8 Hybrid has a great feature: you can activate the vacuum cleaner or mop by voice thanks to the integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This is a nice feature that makes the robot more hands-free. And it is very effective in our test house.
Like many robotic vacuums, the X8 Hybrid has some issues with bare floors. It may miss pet hair and other small objects, and is more likely to get into objects - like its own charger that sits on its base for charging. It's not as quiet as other models we've tested, and the whirring sounds can be distracting.
Roborock V3S pro
The robot doesn't come with the same number of features as the more expensive ones we tested, however it does provide the essentials. It has a large enough dust bin that can hold plenty of dirt before it needs emptying, and its mop and vacuum system is great for carpets with low pile and hard floors. It's also extremely quiet, and we were able to sit and watch TV while it was cleaning without feeling like it was blasting us with the sound.
Our testers were impressed by how simple it was to install and use, and they were amazed by its ability to clean all the messes off their floors. It even did a pretty excellent job of removing pet hair and other messes that get on carpeting, though it was not as effective in removing stubborn staining. They found the app user-friendly and easy to use, and were able to schedule the vacuum to clean on a regular basis to help reduce how much they needed to do manually. It's also very quiet and comes with a massive dust bin that holds plenty of debris prior to when it has to empty so you don't need to worry about regularly emptying it.
Although the V3S Pro didn't earn a spot in any of our top picks roundups from reliable sources that carry out hands-on tests, it got high marks from reviewers from Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient. They appreciated the ease with which it was install and use, however they also noted that its battery life was short and it didn't manage to stay clear of some of the most difficult problems we've encountered.
