The IQ app offers some advanced mapping and automated features, but it does not have no-go zones. They are only available on iRobot robots. The smart-pathing system of the app permits for better maneuverability and the high-pile mode of its carpet cleaning mode is very effective, although it can get stuck on rug tassels.

In our tests during our tests, the IQ was capable of handling pet hair well, clearing an impressive amount of debris from floors that were not bare and fair amounts of medium-pile carpet. It was less effective on shag carpet, where it struggled to reach dirt and dust buried in the fibers. It was able to navigate the legs of a chair, tiny spaces, and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. It was a little slower on floors that were not paved however, it was able to recover speed and performed better than other robots we tested.

The IQ is a better choice than the iRobot Roomba 694 for most uses. It has a larger dustbin and a longer battery lifespan and is better at navigating around obstacles. It comes with a mopping tool that can remove sticky mess. On the other hand, the iRobot is more durable and has fewer components that require replacement or maintenance, incurs lower recurring costs and creates virtual no-go zones using its companion app. It can even resume cleaning from where it left off if it has run out of battery before finishing the job. The iRobot can be controlled by voice commands, which is a major benefit for many users.

The 11S is slim and sleek, and features a tempered-glass upper deck that appears like the brushed appearance of aluminum. It's a refreshing departure from the industrial and utilitarian designs of Roomba, Samsung and Neato.

The eufy11S performed well in our tests at removing larger particles and fine dust from hard flooring. However, it struggled to give medium and high pile carpets a thorough clean. The device is capable to bump into furniture and people along its route. However, it is able to detect obstacles using sensors. It ceases and emits a loud noise when it encounters an obstruction. It is then possible to manually steer the device around the obstacle and get it to work again.

The BoostIQ mode is another great feature of the Eufy11S. It lets you set the robot up to automatically adjust suction strength based on the floor type and the level of mess. The remote control makes it simple to guide the 11S to the desired place.

The turbo head works best on low-pile or high-pile carpeting while the standard powerhead is good for floors with no flooring and light rug. It also has an automatic height adjustment system that allows it to adapt to various kinds of flooring without manual adjustments.

The model comes with an SBD 285-3 Classic Combination Floorhead that can handle both hard floors and carpeting of medium-pile. The powerhead is also easy to move and can be used to reach difficult areas. It has five levels of surface adjustment as well as an off-brush switch to avoid hairs getting caught in tangles.

The Classic C1 also has a self-cleaning brush roll, an UtraClean mode that moves across the same area three times to give the most thorough cleaning, and a self-emptying dustbin which can be filled with the push of the button.
