The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features found in its more expensive sibling.
During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of medium-pile carpets. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home.
iRobot Roomba s9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and a variety of features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the touch of a button. You can choose the general clean option, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vacuum is effective both on bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and sucks big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets, but iRobot says that future models will be more efficient.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes this will allow it hug the furniture and walls. It's a step up from the hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are standard, but we found it to be just marginally superior to circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has superior filtration that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think it's a nice statement but not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology to map the interior. It then cleans your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it can recognize areas that require more attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. Its mopping system is better as its spinning pads scrub floors more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only downside is that it lacks a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it's an acceptable price to pay if you want one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.
In terms of the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, produce minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently bump into furniture or walls, and then move away if it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right for example, the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.
You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several areas of the home with different flooring materials or there's some clutter that must be cleaned out regularly, such as toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors in the first attempt. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties the mop pads to keep them clean and ready for reuse. It also has a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture and other objects.
The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still big. It is more than two feet in both height and depth, and weighs almost four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot j7.
This version is more efficient than the X1 because it charges more quickly and can clean 1,500 square feet in a single charge. It also has a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, which means you can control it even when you're not home. It also has more mopping options and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead simply following a predetermined path.
The Omni X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested due to its mop pads rotating to scrub away tough stains and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it's doing an excellent job. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as any we've seen in the market for a consumer robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that comes with a variety of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It is able to build precise floor maps, recognize different flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice, but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It is tall and slim with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects robots that vacuum and mop the vacuum cleaner and furniture when you are moving around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front panel, which helps the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find a single button that essentially acts as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The central control panel includes an oblique menu that allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra integrates with your home.

The L10s Ultra has a solid vacuuming capability that clears 98.4 percent of debris from our test on the hard floor and removing all but the most difficult juice stains. The mops are also efficient, taking away 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
